General Questions
1 What add-ons does Everest Web Deals provide?
Everest Web Deals provides several Google Workspace add-ons and Microsoft Office add-ins, including:
2 What is the difference between Choice Eliminator, Form Choice Limiter, and Form Response Limit?
Choice Eliminator for Google Forms™ limits individual choices and uses a custom Everest Web Deals form URL. It does not remove choices from the original Google Form. Instead, it disables, hides, or strikes through unavailable options.
Form Choice Limiter limits individual choices directly in the original Google Form. It may remove or hide options when limits are reached.
Form Response Limit limits the total number of responses to a form or opens/closes the form based on date and time.
Use:
- Choice Eliminator for high-volume choice limiting and strikethrough/disabled options.
- Form Choice Limiter if you need to use the original Google Forms URL.
- Form Response Limit if you need to limit total form submissions.
3 Can I use multiple limiter add-ons on the same form?
No. We do not recommend using multiple limiter or timer add-ons on the same form.
Using multiple limiter add-ons can cause:
- Choices to disappear too early
- Incorrect counts
- Options being removed by another add-on
- Forms closing unexpectedly
- Configuration conflicts
Use only one limiter add-on per form.
4 Is support available by phone, Zoom, or WhatsApp?
No. Support is currently available by email only.
Please paste the add-on name, form edit link or custom add-on URL, and exact error message directly in your email text:

Choice Eliminator for Google Forms™
5 Why does Choice Eliminator use a custom URL?
Choice Eliminator works through a custom Everest Web Deals URL so it can display unavailable options as disabled, hidden, or strikethrough without modifying the original Google Form.
The URL looks like:
https://form.everestwebdeals.co/?form=<FormId>
Respondents must use this URL for limits to work.
6 Can respondents use the original Google Forms link with Choice Eliminator?
No. If respondents use the original Google Forms URL, Choice Eliminator cannot enforce the limits.
You must share only the add-on-provided URL with respondents.
The original Google Forms respondent URL should remain private.
7 My choices are not being eliminated. What should I check?
Check the following:
- Are respondents using the custom Everest Web Deals URL?
- Did you click Save in the add-on configuration?
- Are limits set for each option?
- Are you using only one limiter add-on?
- Has the original Google Forms URL been shared accidentally?
- Has your license expired?
If the issue continues, share your form with support as an Editor.
8 Why are respondents still able to select full options?
The most common reason is that respondents are using the original Google Forms URL instead of the Choice Eliminator URL.
Choice Eliminator only works when respondents submit through:
https://form.everestwebdeals.co/?form=<FormId>9 Does Choice Eliminator remove choices from my original Google Form?
No. Choice Eliminator does not remove choices from the original Google Form.
It shows unavailable choices as:
- Disabled
- Strikethrough
- Hidden, depending on your settings
10 Can Choice Eliminator handle high-volume forms?
Yes. Choice Eliminator is better suited for high-volume submissions than Form Choice Limiter.
However, if many users submit at exactly the same moment, some users may briefly see a “Please wait” message and need to retry.
11 Why are all choices greyed out?
Possible causes include:
- Limits were already reached
- Existing responses need to be synced
- Configuration was not saved
- Domain restriction settings have a typo
- Browser cache/session issue
- Temporary service issue
Try:
- Open the add-on configuration.
- Click Save.
- Refresh the custom form URL.
- Test in an incognito window.
- If unresolved, share the form with support as an Editor.
12 How do I reopen a choice after deleting a response?
If you deleted a response directly in Google Forms, open the add-on configuration and click Save to sync the response counts.
For future deletions, use Response Manager so the counts update automatically.
13 Where is Response Manager?
Open your Google Form, then:
- Click the puzzle-piece add-ons icon.
- Select the add-on.
- Click Response Manager.
14 If I delete a response in Response Manager, will the linked spreadsheet update?
Not always.
Google Sheets contains a copy of form responses. The original response data is stored in Google Forms. Response Manager edits the original form response, but the spreadsheet may still contain old copied data.
You may need to export responses to a new spreadsheet or manually update the sheet.
15 Does Choice Eliminator work with Google Forms file upload questions?
Choice Eliminator may not work properly with file upload fields because Google restricts access to those fields.
If you need file uploads, consider using Form Choice Limiter instead.
Form Choice Limiter
16 What does Form Choice Limiter do?
Form Choice Limiter limits how many times each individual option can be selected in a Google Form.
Example:
- Monday session: 10 seats
- Tuesday session: 15 seats
- Wednesday session: 20 seats
Each option can have its own limit.
17 Does Form Choice Limiter limit total form responses?
No. Form Choice Limiter limits individual choices, not the total number of form submissions.
To limit total submissions, use Form Response Limit.
18 Why is my option disappearing too early?
Common causes:
- Another limiter add-on is installed.
- Old responses from a previous session are being counted.
- The option text was changed after responses were collected.
- Some respondents selected multiple checkbox options.
- Responses existed before you clicked Save.
- Another script or add-on is modifying the form.
19 Why does the add-on count not match my Google Sheets count?
Google Sheets is only a copy of form responses. The original data is stored in Google Forms.
Also, Form Choice Limiter counts selected options. If one respondent selects two checkbox options, that counts as two selected choices.
20 When does Form Choice Limiter start counting responses?
Form Choice Limiter starts counting after you click Save in the add-on configuration.
Responses submitted before the first save may not be counted.
If your form already has responses, set the remaining limit instead of the total limit.
Example:
If your option limit is 12 and 9 responses already exist, set the remaining limit to 3.
21 I changed an option name and now the count is wrong. Why?
Google Forms treats changed option text as a new option.
Even a small change, typo correction, or extra space creates a new option for counting.
To fix:
- Set the limit based on remaining available spots, or
- Revert the option text exactly to the previous version.
22 Why did “Go to section based on answer” disappear?
This is expected Google Forms behavior.
When Form Choice Limiter removes or modifies an option, Google Forms may remove the section-routing logic for that option.
Workaround:
Use Choice Eliminator for Google Forms™, which does not remove choices from the original Google Form.
23 Can Form Choice Limiter support high-volume simultaneous submissions?
It can work for normal use, but if many users submit at nearly the same time, limits may be exceeded by one or more responses.
For high-volume forms, use Choice Eliminator for Google Forms™.
24 Can Form Choice Limiter support checkbox grids?
Form Choice Limiter does not fully support choice grids.
For grid-type questions, use Choice Eliminator for Google Forms™.
25 Can I restore one option after it reached its limit?
Yes. Increase the limit for that option and click Save.
Form Response Limit
26 What does Form Response Limit do?
Form Response Limit can:
- Limit total form responses
- Close a form after a specific number of submissions
- Open or close a form at a scheduled date/time
- Show a custom closed-form message
- Notify the form owner when the form closes
27 Can Form Response Limit limit individual choices?
No. Form Response Limit limits the whole form.
To limit individual answer choices, use:
- Form Choice Limiter
- Choice Eliminator for Google Forms™
28 My form did not close when the response limit was reached. What should I check?
Check:
- Did you click Save in the add-on?
- Is the form published?
- Is the form accepting responses?
- Is another add-on installed?
- Did many users submit at the same time?
- Are you logged into the correct Google account?
If unresolved, share your form with support as an Editor.
29 My form closed at the wrong time. Why?
Possible causes:
- Incorrect time zone
- Incorrect enable/disable date
- Multiple Google accounts causing trigger errors
- Too many time-based triggers
- Another script or add-on controlling the form
- Form was manually opened or closed
30 Can I change the closed-form message?
Yes.
In Form Response Limit, enable Custom closed form message and enter your message.
If the form is already closed, you may need to update the message directly in Google Forms:
- Click Published or Accepting responses.
- Turn accepting responses off.
- Edit the message shown to respondents.
- Save.
31 If the response limit is reached, can people still submit for a waitlist?
No. Once the form is closed, no further responses are accepted.
Workaround:
Add a waitlist link in the custom closed-form message.
Example:
This session is full. To join the waitlist, please complete this form: [waitlist link]
32 Does resetting Form Response Limit delete form responses?
Resetting the add-on configuration does not delete Google Form responses.
However, deleting/resetting responses in Google Forms or using a restore/reset feature that clears responses can permanently delete response data.

184 Does Choice Eliminator store form structure?
Yes. It may store partial form structure and choice-count metadata needed to enforce limits.
Admin and Workspace Questions
84 The add-on says it was installed by my administrator. Can I uninstall it?
No. If the add-on was installed by your Workspace administrator, only the administrator can uninstall or disable it.
85 Can a Google Admin purchase a license for another user?
Yes. The purchaser will receive a license key, and the end user can apply it from the add-on’s License menu.
86 Which email should I use to buy a license?
Use the email where you want the license key delivered.
If the payment email is different from the Google Forms account, apply the license key from the Google Forms account to reassign it.
87 If I am not the form owner, can I configure the add-on?
Usually the form owner should install and configure the add-on.
If you are not the form owner, you may get permission errors.
Domain Licenses
41 What is a Workspace Domain license?
A Workspace Domain license covers all users within your organization’s Google Workspace domain.
Example:
If your domain is:
@example.org
Then all users with emails ending in @example.org are covered.
42 Does a domain license cover unlimited users?
Yes. A Workspace Domain license covers unlimited users within the licensed domain.
43 Are new users automatically licensed?
Yes. New users under the same domain are automatically licensed.
44 How do I activate a domain license?
Open the add-on using an account under the domain, go to License, and apply the domain license key.
Once applied, the license activates for the entire domain.
45 I purchased a domain license but only see one license. Is that normal?
Yes. The system may show one license, but the domain license applies to all users under the domain once activated.
46 Can a domain license be limited to a specific OU?
Domain licenses are generally applied to the whole email domain, not a specific organizational unit.
If only a few users need access, single-user licenses may be more appropriate.
Reset, Restore, and Deleted Responses
80 Can deleted Google Form responses be recovered?
Usually no.
If responses were not linked to Google Sheets or backed up before deletion, they cannot be recovered.
81 Does Google store deleted form responses?
No. Deleted Google Forms responses are not moved to trash and cannot be restored through Google Forms.
82 How do I prevent data loss?
Before collecting responses:
- Open Google Form.
- Go to Responses.
- Link responses to Google Sheets.
This keeps a spreadsheet copy of submitted responses.
83 Does Schedule Reset delete spreadsheet data?
Schedule Reset may remove responses from the Google Form, but linked Google Sheets data should remain.
Always verify that responses are linked to a spreadsheet before using reset/restore features.
Response Emails
76 Why are respondents not receiving confirmation emails?
Possible causes:
- Google email quota reached
- Incorrect manually entered email
- Spam/junk filtering
- Recipient email server blocked the message
- Google Forms settings not configured
- Corporate firewall rules
77 Does the add-on control Google’s “Send responders a copy” feature?
Google’s native response receipt feature is controlled by Google Forms.
The add-on cannot block or intercept Google’s native response receipt emails.
78 How do I enable response receipt emails?
In Google Forms:
- Open Settings.
- Go to Responses.
- Enable Send responders a copy of their response.
For Choice Eliminator, if using add-on email feature, also enable it in the add-on configuration.
79 Can I resend failed response emails?
If the add-on supports it, open Response Manager, find the response, and click Send responders a copy of their response.
Advanced Operational FAQ
206 Can I manually close a form and later let the add-on reopen it?
Yes, but make sure the add-on schedule is saved correctly.
If Form Response Limit is supposed to open the form later, the form can be closed first and then opened by the scheduled trigger.
207 Why did my scheduled form open too early?
Possible causes:
- Time zone mismatch
- Incorrect saved date/time
- Multiple Google accounts
- Trigger issue
- Manual opening
- Another script or add-on
Ask for saved configuration details and form link in text.
208 Why did my scheduled form not close?
Possible causes:
- Trigger failed
- Google Apps Script quota/trigger issue
- Multiple Google accounts
- Form not published correctly
- Another add-on/script conflict
Ask for Editor access if urgent.
209 How do I extend a deadline in Form Limit Timer?
Open the add-on configuration, set the new deadline, and click Save.
210 How do I disable Form Response Limit on a form?
Clear the response limit and date/time fields, then click Save.
If needed, uninstall the add-on from Workspace Marketplace.
211 How do I disable Form Choice Limiter on a form?
Remove or clear limits in the add-on configuration and click Save.
If expired and unable to save, contact support or renew/extend temporarily.
212 How do I remove Choice Eliminator from a form?
Open add-on configuration and remove/clear limits or stop using the custom add-on URL.
To fully uninstall the add-on, use Google Workspace Marketplace.
213 Will uninstalling the add-on delete my Google Form responses?
No. Uninstalling the add-on should not delete Google Form responses.
214 Will uninstalling the add-on remove already-hidden choices?
If Form Choice Limiter removed options from the original Google Form, you may need to restore or manually re-add them.
Choice Eliminator does not remove original options.
215 What is the Restore button?
Restore can bring back options removed by the add-on and reset counts, depending on add-on.
Important: Some restore/reset actions may clear form responses. Always back up to Google Sheets first.
216 Does Restore delete responses?
It can, depending on the add-on and action. Always warn customers to back up responses to Google Sheets before using Restore/Reset.
Form Quiz Timer
91 Is Form Quiz Timer free?
Yes. Form Quiz Timer is free for educational use.
92 Is there a participant limit in Form Quiz Timer?
No participant limit has been stated for the free version.
93 Why are quiz scores not showing?
Make sure the Google Form is configured as a quiz and that points are assigned to questions.
94 Can Form Quiz Timer limit attempts per person?
Yes. Form Quiz Timer is the recommended add-on for quiz attempt limits per person.
Function by Color
95 Why does my Function by Color formula not update when I change cell colors?
Google Sheets does not automatically recalculate formulas when only cell color changes.
Use the add-on sidebar refresh/reapply option to force recalculation.
96 Why do I only see Help in Function by Color?
Refresh the page, wait 30–60 seconds, then open the add-on menu again.
If unresolved, try signing in with only one Google account or using incognito mode.
Discounts and Free Access
88 Do you offer nonprofit discounts?
Yes. Nonprofit organizations may qualify for special pricing. Please contact support with your organization name, website, add-on name, license type needed, and Google account email. Our team will review the request and share available options.
89 Do you offer educational discounts?
Yes. Schools and educational organizations may qualify for special pricing. Please contact support with your school name, add-on name, license type needed, and Google account email.
90 Can nonprofits or schools get a free trial extension?
Often yes. Contact support with your organization, use case, and Google account email.
Miscellaneous
97 Can I post the Choice Eliminator link on Facebook?
Yes, you can share the add-on-provided custom URL publicly if your form is meant to be public.
For private forms, use sign-in/domain restrictions.
98 Can I use add-ons on iPad or iPhone?
Google Workspace editor add-ons are not fully supported in Google Forms mobile apps.
Use a desktop browser on a computer for configuration.
99 Can I use the add-on with a QR code?
Yes. QR codes simply point to the form URL.
The QR code itself has no scan limit.
100 Can I use a custom closed message in another language?
Some add-ons support custom messages. If the default system message cannot be translated, send the exact message text to support for review or feature request.
101 Can the same license be transferred every year to a new staff member?
Single-user licenses can usually be reassigned only once.
If staff change frequently, a Workspace Domain license is recommended.
102 Can I buy one license for one user in a district domain?
Yes. If only one user needs the add-on, purchase a single-user license.
If many users need access, purchase a Workspace Domain license.
103 What should I send support when reporting a bug?
Send:
- Add-on name
- Form edit link
- Custom add-on URL, if applicable
- Exact error message text
- Configuration details in text
- License screen message in text
- Payment email, if license-related
- Description of expected vs actual behavior
104 How do I share my form with support?
- Open the form in edit mode.
- Click the three dots in the upper-right corner.
- Click Add collaborators.
- Add:
everestwebdeals@gmail.com
- Set permission to Editor.
105 Why does support ask for Editor access?
Editor access allows support to inspect configuration and reproduce the issue.
Do not send passwords. Never share login credentials.
106 Why does Choice Eliminator say my form is not published even though it is?
This usually means the form is not publicly accessible through the respondent link.
Check these settings:
- Open your Google Form.
- Click Publish or Published in the top-right corner.
- Confirm the form is published.
- Under responder access, choose Anyone with the link.
- Save the settings.
- Open Choice Eliminator again and click Save.
If the error continues, try logging out of other Google accounts or using an incognito window.
107 Why does Choice Eliminator work on one device but not another?
Most often, the device that does not work is using the original Google Forms URL instead of the Everest Web Deals custom URL.
For Choice Eliminator, respondents must use the custom URL:
https://form.everestwebdeals.co/?form=<FormId>
Also check:
- Browser cache
- Multiple Google accounts
- Old saved form link
- Different respondent URL copied on different devices
108 Why does my Choice Eliminator form show “Form Configuration Required”?
This can happen when:
- The add-on configuration was not saved.
- The form was copied and the add-on was not configured on the new copy.
- The trial/license expired before configuration was saved.
- The form’s publish/access settings changed.
Open the add-on configuration, check your limits/settings, click Save, and then use the newly generated add-on URL.
109 What happens if I copy a Google Form that uses an add-on?
The copied form may not retain all add-on configuration correctly.
After copying a form:
- Open the copied form.
- Open the add-on configuration.
- Re-check all limits/settings.
- Click Save.
- Use the correct respondent URL for that copied form.
110 Can I reuse last year’s form for a new event?
Yes, but it is often safer to make a copy of the old form and configure the add-on again.
Recommended approach:
- Make a copy of the old form.
- Update dates/options.
- Reset or clear old responses only if you have backed them up.
- Configure the add-on again.
- Click Save.
- Test before sharing.
111 Should I delete old responses before using a form for a new session?
If you are using a limiter that counts existing responses, old responses may affect current limits.
Before reusing a form:
- Export old responses to Google Sheets.
- Make sure you have a backup.
- Clear/reset old responses only if you no longer need them in the form.
- Configure and save the add-on again.
112 Why are old responses affecting my new limits?
Some add-ons count total responses stored in the Google Form. If old responses remain, they may count toward the limit.
Example:
If an option has a limit of 20 and 10 old responses already exist, only 10 additional selections may be available.
113 Why does my option show 0 responses even though people selected it?
Possible causes:
- Responses were submitted before the add-on configuration was saved.
- Option text was changed after responses were submitted.
- You are checking Google Sheets instead of Google Forms response data.
- The original Google Forms URL was used instead of the add-on URL.
- You are using the wrong add-on for the desired behavior.
114 Why did changing an option from “Ankeeny” to “Ankeny” break the count?
The add-on counts options by exact text.
Google Forms treats these as different options:
Ankeeny
Ankeny
Ankeny
Even a typo fix, extra space, punctuation mark, or formatting change can create a new option count.
115 How do I fix counts after editing option text?
You can either:
- Revert the option text exactly to the original text, then save; or
- Keep the new text and set the limit based on remaining available spots.
Example:
- Original option had 10 responses.
- New corrected option has 8 responses.
- Total desired limit is 20.
- Set the new option limit to 10 or 12 depending on how you want remaining spots counted.
116 Why does my add-on say “responses: 0” after I already received responses?
If using Form Choice Limiter, counting starts after you click Save in the add-on configuration.
Responses received before saving may not be counted by the add-on.
117 Why are there more selections than total form responses?
For checkbox questions, one respondent can select multiple options.
Example:
- 17 form responses
- Two respondents each selected two options
- Total selected options may be 19 or more
The add-on counts option selections, not just form submissions.
118 Why did my form close after only one response?
Possible reasons:
- Another form limiter add-on is installed.
- A Google Forms setting or script closed the form.
- “Disable accepting responses on submit” or another closing feature was enabled.
- A total response limit add-on was used instead of a choice limiter.
- The form was manually closed.
Check installed add-ons and Google Forms settings.
119 What does “Disable accepting responses on submit” do?
This setting temporarily disables accepting responses during submission to reduce the risk of simultaneous overbooking.
It may help in lower-volume situations, but it cannot fully prevent over-limit responses when many users submit at the exact same time.
For high-volume forms, use Choice Eliminator for Google Forms™.
120 Can Form Choice Limiter guarantee no overbooking?
No. Because Google Forms processes simultaneous submissions independently, overbooking may occur if multiple respondents submit at nearly the same moment.
For stronger high-volume protection, use Choice Eliminator for Google Forms™.
121 Can Choice Eliminator guarantee no overbooking?
Choice Eliminator is designed to better handle high-volume choice limiting because respondents submit through the Everest Web Deals custom URL.
However, users may still see a “Please wait” message if many people submit at the exact same moment.
122 What does the “Please wait. Someone is submitting a response” message mean?
It means another respondent is submitting at the same moment, and the add-on is preventing a conflict.
The respondent should wait briefly and try again.
123 Can 1,000+ people submit a Choice Eliminator form at once?
Choice Eliminator is designed for high-volume usage, but if many users submit within the same fraction of a second, some may need to retry.
For very large launches, advise users to refresh or retry if they see a temporary message.
124 Why is the add-on slow to load?
Google Workspace add-ons depend partly on Google server load, browser state, and network speed.
Try:
- Refresh the page.
- Wait 30–60 seconds.
- Reopen the add-on.
- Use Chrome.
- Try incognito mode.
- Use only one signed-in Google account.
125 Why does Response Manager take a long time to load?
Response Manager may load slowly if the form has many responses.
If the form has hundreds or thousands of responses, wait for it to finish loading.
If it never loads, contact support and share the form as Editor.
126 Can I edit a respondent’s submission?
If the add-on supports Response Manager:
- Open Response Manager.
- Find the response.
- Use the edit option.
- Update the response.
- Submit changes.
The add-on should recalculate limits after the edit.
127 Can respondents edit their own responses?
This depends on Google Forms settings.
To allow or disable this:
- Open Google Form.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Responses.
- Toggle Allow response editing.
128 If a respondent edits their response, will the old choice become available again?
Yes, when edits are handled through the form/add-on correctly, limits should recalculate and the previous choice should become available again if capacity allows.
129 If someone cancels or receives a refund, how do I reopen their spot?
Use Response Manager to delete or update their response. The count should recalculate and reopen the spot.
130 Can I create a waitlist option?
Yes. A simple workaround is to add a separate option such as:
Waitlist
or create a separate waitlist form and link it in the closed-form message.
131 Can I customize the message shown when an option is full?
Some add-ons support custom messages. Check the add-on configuration for:
- Custom closed-form message
- Limit reached message
- Options limit reached action
If the specific message cannot be changed, contact support with the exact message text.
132 What are “Disable and strikethrough” and “Hide”?
These are actions for choices that reach their limit.
- Disable and strikethrough: option remains visible but cannot be selected.
- Hide: option is hidden from respondents.
133 Should I use Hide or Strikethrough?
Use Strikethrough if you want respondents to see what is already full.
Use Hide if you do not want unavailable options shown.
134 Why do hidden options cause confusion in linked Google Sheets?
The add-on works with the form. Google Sheets is only a copy of responses. If you change form structure or hide/remove options, the linked sheet may show old columns or copied values.
If needed, export responses to a new spreadsheet.
135 Why are there duplicate columns in my linked Google Sheet?
Duplicate columns may appear if form question/option structure was changed after responses were already linked to a sheet.
Google Sheets does not always cleanly restructure old response columns.
136 How do I refresh the linked Google Sheet after editing responses?
You can:
- Open Google Forms.
- Go to Responses.
- Click the Sheets icon or three-dot menu.
- Select a new spreadsheet destination or export again.
137 Can I manually edit the linked spreadsheet to change counts?
No. Editing the linked spreadsheet does not change original Google Form responses.
The add-on reads original Google Forms responses, not spreadsheet edits.
138 Why do spreadsheet edits not affect the add-on?
Because Google Sheets is only a copy of form responses. The original response data is stored in Google Forms.
Use Google Forms or Response Manager to edit/delete responses.
139 Why is my form saying “This choice no longer accepts responses”?
This message appears when a choice has reached its limit or has been disabled/removed by a limiter.
If it appears incorrectly, check:
- Option limit
- Response count
- Old responses
- Changed option text
- Other limiter add-ons
- Whether you are using the correct add-on URL
140 Can I remove all limits from a form?
Yes.
Open the add-on configuration, clear or set limits to zero depending on the add-on, then click Save.
If the license expired and you cannot save, contact support or renew/extend the license.
141 I clicked “One click apply limit for all choices” by mistake. Can I undo it?
If you have not clicked Save, close and reopen the add-on.
If you already clicked Save, manually change the limits and save again.
142 What if “One click apply limit for all choices” does not save?
Check:
- Did you click Save after applying?
- Are there special characters in options?
- Are you using the correct add-on?
- Are you signed in with the correct account?
Send the exact message text if unresolved.
143 Why do some limits save and others disappear?
Known causes include:
- Special characters in option text
- Apostrophes
- Double quotes
- Hidden characters
- Very long option text
- Unsupported question type
- Wrong add-on
Try temporarily removing special characters and saving again.
144 Can special characters break saving limits?
Sometimes, yes. Past issues involved double quotes (") and apostrophes (') in option text.
If limits fail to save, try removing or replacing special characters and then click Save.
145 Can I use Form Choice Limiter on dropdown questions?
Yes. Form Choice Limiter supports dropdown questions.
If dropdown options disappear incorrectly, check for other limiter add-ons or changed option text.
146 Is there a Google Forms dropdown option limit?
Yes. Google Forms dropdowns may have limitations with very large lists, such as around 1,000 options.
If your dropdown has more than 1,000 options, split the options into categories or use a different add-on/setup.
147 What should I do if my dropdown has thousands of options?
Recommended options:
- Split options into multiple questions/categories.
- Use Choice Eliminator if appropriate.
- Reduce the number of dropdown items.
148 Can I limit options imported by Form Ranger or another dynamic add-on?
Be careful. Dynamic form add-ons like Form Ranger may restore or change choices after a limiter removes them.
This can cause limits to fail.
Use only one add-on or carefully configure dynamic add-ons so they do not overwrite limiter changes.
149 Why did options come back after Form Choice Limiter removed them?
Another add-on or script may be restoring them.
Common examples:
- Form Ranger
- Dynamic Forms
- Other limiter add-ons
- Custom Apps Script
150 What should I do if another script is attached to my form?
Create a clean copy of the form and configure only the Everest Web Deals add-on.
